*UPDATED* CARR FAR-RIGHT MOBILISATIONS IN GREAT BRITAIN (FRGB DATASET) 2009-2020

  • William Allchorn
  • March 8, 2021

The authors of the FRGB dataset, Dr Andreas Dafnos and Dr William Allchorn, are pleased to announce an updated version – complete with all cases for 2020. This includes the following type of protest actions: “Brawl”, “Christian patrols/Mosque invasion or Vigilante patrols”, “Counter-demonstration”, “Demonstration/protest”, “Disruption/intimidation”, “Vigil/protest”, connected to (but not exclusively focused upon) waves of protest associated with British far-right reactions to government measures in relation to Covid-19, the Black Live Matters movement and migrant crossings in August 2020.

A further report and release of the dataset – focusing on acts of British far-right violence between January 2009 and December 2020 – will be issued shortly.

If you need access to the full, downloadable dataset, please use the linked FRGB Dataset contact form.
