Marta’s doctoral research focuses on the place of Europe in the ideology of the French Front National and Italian Movimento Sociale Italiano/Alleanza Nazionale. She aims to reconstruct the conceptual space of Europe in far right ideology and understand its possible effects on the image of these parties. Her research employs a qualitative methodology based on an in-depth analysis of partisan literature including programmes, speeches, interviews congress motions, and grey literature.
Marta completed a dual degree in European Studies between Sciences Po Paris and the London School of Economics. She is a regular contributor to the LSE Europp blog.
