Jared Shurin is Head of Strategy at M&C Saatchi World Services, a specialist division of a global communications network dedicated to tackling some of humanity’s most challenging and important problems.
His background includes work with some of the world’s leading brands such as adidas, eBay, FOX and IKEA, with iconic campaigns recognised by WARC, CLIOs and the IPA, amongst others. For the past decade, he’s focused on behaviour change programmes for the public and third sector, including governments, multilaterals, and NGOs, on topics including education, community cohesion, gender equality, countering disinformation, and preventing violent extremism.
Jared works closely with researchers, insight partners, technologists and delivery specialists to develop new methods of engaging with communities, developing persuasive positive pathways, and addressing hostile narratives.
He is a frequent speaker on marketing and persuasion, narrative development, and behaviour change, including presentations for Hedayah, GCERF, the United Nations, multiple universities, and, of course, CARR. He is a regular contributor to media outlets on the subject of behaviour change communications.
