Specialist Research Areas: Hate Crime, Radical Right Protests

sc728@kent.ac.uk

Sadie focuses on the factors leading to the perpetration of racial and religious hate crime, with emphasis on relative deprivation, cultural threat, and the influence of the radical right. Her previous research areas have been cumulative extremism, with a focus on the role Islam plays within the organisation Britain First. She also has previous experience researching and teaching the performance of radical right parties and organisations across Europe.

Hate crime, including the influence of the radical right on the perpetration of hate crime.
